Hi All,
I have a Mac Mini M1 with a 256Gb SSD. I have an iTunes library that is 73Gb in size with just over 300 playlists, and approximately 5000 songs.
I bought a 1TB SSD and connected it to the Mac Mini via usc-c. I formatted the drive as APFS.
To move the iTunes library, I Consolidated Files, then copied iTunes folder to external SSD, I then launched Music app while holding option key and Selected Choose Library, I then browsed to the external SSD and selected iTunes Library.itl. I then gave it a name and saved it.
The music app opened, I checked through my playlists and found several were missing. The total number of songs was about 4800. So approximately 200 songs missing. It would appear that all of the playlists that I created last year are missing. All of the older playlists are still there
Any suggestions on how to fix this? Any questions, please ask?
Thanks
