I just went in my Mac to find an app that I purchased and it appears to be gone. In fact, when I go into iTunes and the App store all of my apps are listed, but they are not clickable. They are grayed out. I have the same apps on my iPad and they are not there either. I haven't downloaded Yosemite yet because there still seems to be a lot of problems with it. Could that be the problem. I paid good money for these apps and want them back. Any help will be appreciated.

Not sure what issues you have heard with Yosemite. i have had it since launch and there haven't been any big bugs, unlike iOS 8.4. Did you check to see if your account was logged into on the App store? That could explain why it showing that you have the apps but they are greyed out.

Yes, I had to log in to see the apps. However, I've never had to log in before to use an app. They've always been there. The app icons simply aren't there on my iPad or in my Applications folder on m iMac.
