Missing terminal in 10.6.8

Hi,

Just got a 13" MacBook Pro running 10.6.8. For some reason, it's missing the terminal. All the rest of the normal utilities are there. I looked on the installation CD and no terminal there, either! I downloaded iTerm, but this seems really odd.

Any ideas why I'd be missing the terminal and not see it in the list of apps on the install CD?

For what it is worth, when buying a pre-loved machine always zero the drive and do a clean install.

Fresh Install after fresh reformat of the HD will get you back up and running. Don't be lazy right off the bat

This is a brand new machine.
