My IDFA is showing up zeroed out (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000), despite having the Allow Apps to Request to Track setting toggled on.

I’m running iOS 14.3 (18C65) on my iPhone 12 Pro, though it’s possible I have been affected by the problem ever since I first upgraded from iOS 13 (with LAT turned on) to iOS 14 beta.

iOS 14 beta is currently the only Configuration Profile on my device.

What I’ve tried:

* Toggling Settings > Privacy > Tracking > Allow Apps to Request to Track (the option is available, and not greyed out as some with a similar missing IDFA issue have reported)

* Signing out of iCloud and then resetting settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings), per this article: https://www.appsflyer.com/blog/zeroed-idfa-ios-14/

Any idea what the underlying issue could be, and how to resolve?

I used this app to pull my IDFA (ID for Advertisers) https://apps.apple.com/us/app/branch-device-id-finder/id1477763736 and verified that the problem is isolated to my device. Noting also that the IDFV (ID for Vendors) shows up fine.

Good call — I just updated to 14.3 (18C66), but the problem persists.
So the issue resolved itself in…iOS 14.6 (18F5055b). Super bizarre, whatever the bug was. Now I can finally enjoy the numerous “Allow Apps to Request to Track” prompts.
