There's been a lot of negativity surrounding Mission Control. I don't get it but are you using Mission Control? Do you like it?

I use Mission Control and I like it. My only gripe about it is you couldn't have columns anymore and you couldn't assign an app to each space.

Im ok with it. I use it only as a replacement for expose, cuz i didnt use spaces before. I'm a little annoyed by the Mission control but I like some of the new features it brings so i guess that makes it ok for me.

I like it. I hope they smooth out the animation for the 9400m though.

For me it contains a couple of ui dead ends.
-cant see minimzed apps (its supposed to be a one stop place to find all your windows)

-cant transfer windows from one space to another within Mission Control without first going to that space, activating MC and then moving it.
Picture for clarity:

Yea, I'm not a fan of how minimized windows don't show up, but then again it would add more clutter to MC.

IMHO if OSX didn't allow users to minimize windows to the apps dock icon (i.e. only minimizing to the right of the Dock) there'd be no problem since the Dock is always shown in MC.

It's an option and I'm definitely going to do that. I don't have too many apps in my dock so I have some room to spare for minimized windows.

Not so bad

I don't hate it as much as I thought I would.

Mostly it just feels like regular expose except now I get a better idea of what apps are open. I haven't tried it with a ton of windows open but then old expose kind of failed then too.

I do agree that if spaces is going to be a part of mission control apple needs to fully integrate them. I should be able to rearrange my desktops by dragging them (just makes logical sense). And I should be able to move windows from one space to the other easier. I'd also like the ability to drag everything from one desktop into another to combine the two.

Minimized windows would be nice but I can kind of see why they aren't there. It is already cluttered. Minimized windows seem pretty buggy anyway atleast on my install.

Well there is the inconsistency again with Mission Control. Apple lets you minimize to the dock icon of each app but does not let you see it when minimized. Look at what happens when you minimize multiple windows into an app.

Of course you can find them when you use Application expose. However, this shows off another gripe I have. They removed 2 ways of activating app expose->

- Click and hold the dock icon (from Snow Leopard)
- 2 finger swipe up on the dock icon (was in DP2 and DP1 of Lion)

Another issue is this: Multiple windows of the same app->
