I'm a programmer and sloppy with my windows, so naturally I want as much screen real estate as I can get. I want to get a new iMac and add an external display, but since glossy stand-alone monitors are hard to come by(and I already own one that isn't) I was wondering, has anyone ever had a dual monitor setup with one monitor glossy and the other matte? Does it become distracting or do you cease to notice the difference after a while?
