Just noticed that since updating to ML, seems like multitasking has drastically improved.

For instance, if I have Diablo 3 running and switch out to another app, in Lion, everything would be extremely laggy despite the CPU not being fully utilized. Now I can switch over and it's like D3 isn't even running. I always had to close it out.

Just wanted to share :)

Any ideas as to why this might be? There doesn't seem to have been much information about low level changes in Mountain Lion, but they're usually the ones that interest me the most :)

People have been noticing big improvements to how RAM and virtual memory are being balanced in Mountain Lion, no idea if that could be what's helping or not though.
