Hello,

if you put your finger on the right Side of your Magic Trackpad and try to move the Mouse-Pointer than there is always a little stumble or freeze.... like a half second or so....and then the pointer moves normally.

if you try the same in the middle or on the left side of your Magic Trackpad the pointer moves instantly.

But on the right side,...there is always this little "think-pause"...

anbody else have this phenomenon?

It's since 10.8.0 and i hope this will be fixed in 10.8.1...

Did this problem exist before you upgraded to ML?

If it did, it's probably a hardware issue (right side of the magic trackpad is having problems sensing your finger). Get it replaced under warranty.

Also, try to use the "Live view" feature in Better Touch tool http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/32953/bettertouchtool/

See if the trackpad is smoothly detecting all fingers in all regions.

No, under Lion the behavior is normal.

So it's a 10.8.0 bug...
