ML on 4.1 to 5.1 Mac Pro Upgrade

I know the OS and firmware are, in theory, independent, but has anyone actually installed/used Mountain Lion on a 4.1 Mac Pro with the 5.1 firmware? If so, any issues? Thanks!

I have successfuly upgraded my Mac Pro 2009 quad 2.66 4,1 to 5,1 firmware. I replaced the CPU with a six core 3.33 Intel Xeon W3680. I did that yesterday, on Mountain Lion with no trouble at all.
