ML on multiple computers

I qualified for free ML with mid 2012 MPA purchase. After 24+ hours still no free upgrade email from Apple so I went ahead and purchased ML (and made a USB install drive). Still no upgrade email from Apple.

My question is - my wife has Lion on her late 11 MBP. Can I install ML on her computer using the same USB install drive as I used on mine or is it limited to one computer? Her Apple ID is different than mine.

will app store still give you updates since ML technically was not purchased using the wife's apple id?

I don't think there is any genuine test built into the OS to check itself. You should be able to get updates of the OS without a problem.

The app/dmg downloaded from the app store is all the same for everyone anyway.

if you have ML installed, and you have internet on that computer, it will receive updates. no what ifs
