just installed ML on my wifes brand new 13" MBA (literally just bought it on July 20th).

everything seemed to go fine but now the trackpad won't let me click on anything. it happened immediately after install but worked after a restart, but now it isn't working again. any suggestions?

if i have time i'm going to take it back to apple store.

thanks

This might be a dumb question, but have you checked in System Preferences to see if the settings are as you expect them to be?

Ok, use command + space to get a spotlight box, type in preferences, use the arrow keys and enter button to get to system preferences, once there, your cursor will be in the search box, type in Trackpad and hit enter, then use tab and enter to check it out.

Adrift in a sea of possibilities
Strange.

Can you borrow a USB/Bluetooth mouse from another computer or friend? You could then see if it is hardware related (buttons work on temp mouse) or software (no mouseclicks are registered regardless of source).

But, if you have the time, definitely take it to Apple store for some good old AppleCare.

Ok well that is weird. after another restart it is suddenly working. if it happens again, definitely taking it to the store.

checked on the settings and tap to click wasn't selected, odd.

thanks for the help.
