Prior to ML, I got around 28Mbps on my iMac, after the ML upgrade, things were fine initially, but the speed began to drop to 2Mbps 2 days ago...

Is there any possible fix for this? This is frustrating since I've tested out my connection on the boot camp side and windows still gets me ~28Mbps.

i didn't pay 1.7k to run an OS that can't even perform the most basic functions right.

Not sure what may be the issue with yours, but I get around 50-56 mbps in download speeds with ML 10.8.1 on an MBA 2012.

I have 3 Macs, this issue doesn't happen on my 2011 MBP and 2012 MBA, but is plaguing my iMac 2012 and is driving me crazy.
Perhaps apple should understand that Macs aren't like iOS toys that get abandoned every two years.

Something may have gone screwy in the upgrade. Follow the guide here

Does that fix it?

It's definitely NOT Mountain Lion's fault. Call your internet service provider for further details.

I have 5 other computers and 6 other iOS devices on the same network running without issues, and you are telling me that this is not a ML issue?

To be more precise, I even tried boot camp on this problematic iMac and the speed was normal. In conclusion, this issue only appears on iMac 2010 running ML. and yes i did a clean install.

Don't be so quick to defend apple next time, will ya?

The thing is, there is no 'upgrade'
I did two clean installs, the problem persists; and I did try out all the possible 'fixes' ppl propose online. :(

When you say a "clean install" you must mean a REALLY clean one. Because if you restored your files using the Time Machine" after the "clean installation", any problems you had had will appear again.
