I noticed that when over WiFi the quality of the video is ridiculous (close to TV) when I am on 3G the quality more or less is unwatchable - can I some how get the better quality videos while on 3G?

THanks,

It's due to the data transfer rates, in which WiFi is considerably superior.

Hence, your choices are to find a WiFi hotspot, or stick with the current under-par quality.

I consistently get over 1 Mbit per second on 3g, which is more than adequate to deliver the same quality as received over WiFi. They need to have an optimized stream for edge users, and those on 3g/WiFi.

I totally agree, they might as well just have audio only for EDGE with the garbage video they put out for it. I wish they had a preference for which feed to get the highlights from, as a Dodger fan I would prefer to hear Vin Scully's voice rather than the opposing teams announcers.
