Did it add Game Day audio? If it did, I am buying it in a heartbeat.
Definitely an awesome update. I love it.
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=281969989&mt=8There are like 3 apps that come up when I search for MLB-which one is everyone talking about?
Awesome for sure. Does the NFL have something similar?
That being said, I was skeptical about buying next season (if that'll be the case), but these features so far have sold me on getting the app again next year.
Is it confirmed that this is true? I will be surprised if we have to repurchase every year.
It says you get access for the rest of the 08 season when it first came out, wouldn't surprise me at all if you need to re-purchase it next year.
They'll just stop updating the feeds to the current app when next year's season starts, and put out a new 2009 app for next year that people can buy.I may be wrong, but how can they make you repurchase it? I can see them charging for an update, but I'm not sure how they can charge you more for the app down the road after you already paid for it. If that was the case, then the app would kind of be like a trial version that you pay for a certain period of time (which I didn't think was allowed). But I do see where everyone can get the idea of being charged per season from their description of the app.
How do you personalize your "favorite" team and the update frequency?

It cant stream any MLB game audio. XMradio and MLB.com has the contracts to stream them online.
