I'm going to try very hard to keep my language clean. But MobileMe is starting to push me.

Here's what I've tried. This advice is what my tired tired mind gleaned from a bunch of posts.

I signed out of MobileMe preference pane. Deleted all Calendars on my desktop. Signed back in. Went to the "Reset..." dialogue, replaced all Calendars on my computer with MobileMe's. Nudged an event by 30 minutes in the web app. It pushed to my iPod touch within 3 seconds.

iCal just sits there, burning its stubborn grey lines into my retina.

My sync is set to "Automatic," Calendars are checked.

I'm about to howl here.

I just changed my primary email from Gmail to this.

I just sent out a long notice of email change to my entire Address Book.

Two more days of this and I might dial a number I once got when I sent an angry email...

Ok well it started working after I unchecked then rechecked the checkbox in iCal's Preferences to sync with MobileMe.

Madness. ****ing madness.

Yes, we know. Did you search before you posted? No, didn't think so.

Hey there Mr. Presumptuous. I've been keeping an eye on this forum almost 24/7 for the last ****ing three days.

So no. I didn't search. I read it all.

Well then you should be fully aware of the numerous people having problems with iCal syncing. Deal with it.

I'm aware that there's problems with iCal syncing.

I was under the impression that the specific problem of Cloud → iCal had been resolved. That impression was reinforced by the fact that it started working on my machine.

I am dealing with it. I've dealt with it so hard that I'm even coming to terms with the lack of Desktop push.

A glitch I'm noticing is sometimes when you make a change in MM, it goes to iCal but doesn't update on the screen (although sometimes it does). I guess what I would ask you is - if you add an event in MM, and then wait 20 secs or so, close iCal and open it right back up, is your event there?

That's happened with me a few times today.

I'm experiencing the same thing too. Everytime i make a change in the calendar on me.com it will not show up on iCal, however if i quit iCal and open it up again the calendar event appears instantaneously.
