Yes I did. That's what I get for not proofreading my post. But I think the general public probably knew what I meant, spelling errors aside.
I knew exactly what you were saying... Besides, I have better things to do then spell check the internet...
This will be no help to you but - MM has lost some part of my data at least 10 times in the past 2-years (I lost count). Way more then I loose data by my own actions or hardware malfunctions. I can't remember the last time I caused data loss... Just the other day, when the time changed, I lost calendar information due to a bug in iCal (as many others did) and of course, MM spreads the love... The same thing has happened for the past 6 years when the time changed, so much so that I put a twice a year reminder in iCal. This bug should be fixed and yet it remains broke (this is almost funny, and documented).
I do use MM extensively for both personal and business use, even though apple has told me that MM is not for business use (it's in their EULA) - I think this is a cop-out for inferior software (iCal, address book etc.) and MM implementation. None of this is mentioned on the "Im a Mac" commercials or at point of sale...
Don't get me wrong, I like and use Mac's - 10 of them as well as 8 iPhones and who knows how many iPods... I am a loyal customer. (I like to ride my Harley more - I have a life after apple)
I just keep constant, up to date backups of varying kinds both locally and off-site. That way I can fix what MM breaks...
I have no doubt that the products and services that apple provides will continue to improve (if they want to play with the big boys). Google is doing amazing things... Windows 7 and the Droid phone, both amazing products, are here and apple's stock holders will continue to demand performance. This is good for all of us...
I am waiting for the day that MM grows up and becomes more dependable. I did the same with my kids and it paid off
