I have done the hack that you download from Cydia where it adds MMS to the iPhone 2G, but I only get so far.

After reinstalling it twice, I finally got the Settings>General>Network>Cellular Data Network menu to show up, as well as the camera icon in the messages and stuff.

What I need now is the AT&T settings, I tried downloading those custom ones but they don't seem to work. I currently have the iPhone data plan bundled with 200 messages [my family unlimited messaging plan overlaps this]. Am I supposed to change this?

I used to have the smartphone plan but when my iPhone said it couldn't connect, obviously, I figured that was the reason it couldn't send an MMS.

So basically I need the AT&T settings under the Cellular Data Network menu, and any plan changes I'm supposed to make. Thanks!

thats all silly stuff.

i would recommend perhaps downloading the 3.1 beta 2 software and sending mms without hacking the crap out of your phone.

if you dont know how to go about doing that, maybe just waiting for the official 3.1 release?

Yeah I'd like to do that. If my UUID is registered for the 3.0 beta, will it work with 3.1 automatically?

It should, as long as the device wasn't deleted from the UDID registered devices by the owner of the Dev account.

Okay great...problem is, I'm one of those who paid $10 to get theirs registered on another Dev's account.

She hasn't sent the link to download 3.1, and I assume she's not going to. So where do I get a copy? I searched TPB and they have either 1 for the 3G, or a download that includes ALL firmwires [1.25GB], which is way too much for my horrible internet service to download.
