MMS picture resize features

I have a iphone with FW 1.1.3 currently on the orange uk network. My query is i can send messages fine also when i receive a mms message the picture is shown in full view. My question is my friend has the same phone with the same firm ware but is on the O2 UK network, he is also able to send messages fine but when receiving a mms message the picture is very small. Are there any setting or sources that are available to amend this please, or is this a limitation?

My pictures come out small too. What are you using to preview the pictures?

Yes, but only on the 3G ones though.
