Is anyone on here having the issue where you can send an MMS message but when someone sends you one, you get a text stating "Media Content was not included due to a picture resolution or size"?

I called tmo this morning but wasn't able to get it working, thought it was a carrier bundle from Cydia but wasn't. I am able to send myself an MMS and get it just fine but when others send, all I get is a text.

just curious .

I have posted this info on different forums, but nobody seems to care about posting back to see if it fixes the issue or not, only I can tell you is that my friend's 2G Tmobile Iphone is sending and receiving MMS as usual.

Go to your Network/Cellular Data Network Settings and be sure that you have in MMS Max Message Size - 614400, if not enter this value and reboot your iPhone and try again. logic says that this should fix it. In case it doesn't just add sinfuliphone repository in Cydia (w w w.sinfulphonerepo.com) and look through their Packages and download either, Enable 2G MMS package or if you have a 3G or 3GS you just need to install the MMS and tethering Settings, and follow their instructions.

This all stems from the outage lastweek.. before last week I could send and receive but now all I get is a text.

I changed the max to 614400 and still get the same message. I had the T-mobile carrier bundle installed but removed it. i changed the MMSC settings too but still couldn't get it to work. I'll try the other package you recommended and see what happens.. thanks

Yeah, I was having a problem with receiving SMS during the outage, but after it was over my phone continued to work as normal.

which package haha, I've read people who install the legacy prepaid one fixed the issue.

I'm sorry..

In cydia i searched for Spooky and found all the Tmo packages, all of them are V 1.0.9 and when i click install it says " NOTE: The requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed"
??

I didn't mean to install the IPCC through Cydia. I download them onto my computer and install them through iTunes.

MMS fix tmobile

I have a jailbroken unlocked iphone 3g with ver 3.1.2 firmware and modem firmware 05.11.07 let me clear up confusion here are the instructions for those lost ones

Go to Cydia now touch "sections" , scroll down to "tweaks" select it now scoll down to T-mobile US - Postpaid/Flexpaid, there are 6 of them , it should be the second one , to make sure it is the right on , touch each one it will load and in about 10 sec look for the one with the description that says (tmobile carrier support for postpaid and flexpaid BLACKBERRY plans, It enables MMS, internet, etc........ ) this is the one you want. Now once you find it look in the right top corner select install then confirm, it will install and the phone will reboot, now shut down the phone restart it and tada you now can Send and Receive MMS
