Has anyone gotten MMS on their phone without jailbreaking or messing around with any carrier files? I see on MacWorld/Life that some people are getting it early. Is this by location? I have 3.1 and Carrier file 5.0 listed on mine. Thanks!

It's by location... it appears that AT&T is starting to "activate" MMS in a phased roll-out.
Much better than all at once.
Just be patient.

Except they're really not because the vast majority of users have not applied a hacked carrier file and have no access to the service.

It's still going to be released to the general public via a carrier file on the 25th and it's still going to be a giant clusterfeck because everybody's going to start using it on the same day.

The people getting it early are the people who are receiving the IPCC files we already have. You will have to update the IPCC on the 25 regardless.

Gotcha, that must be why the roll out is gradually occurring. Because I have 5.0 and 3.1 and definitely don't see anything about a camera, or when pulling up a photo, about sending it as an MMS.
