Mobile Data Usage

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way fo force iPhone iOS 12 to use mobile data, I have a plan with 80GB a month, and in some instances I can't download or do updates because the iOS will only update when I'm near a wi-fi source.

Aside from jailbreaking, nope. Certain things are restricted unfortunately.

Buy a second iPhone.

When you want to update iPhoneA, place the SIM in iPhoneB and enable wifi sharing. Update iPhoneA. Swap the SIM to iPhoneB, and enable wifi sharing on iPhoneA. Update iPhoneB.
