We LOVE Flickr and have pretty much given every Flickr app a serious try (btw, why hasn't Flickr itself released an app?) ... the one we settled on and use exclusively is Mobile Fotos ... why? ... some really unique features:

It was the first app to upload the image's EXIF information - love EXIF techie stuff, so this is huge!

Also upload GeoTagging

At the time, it was the first Flickr app to upload the full size of the image while other apps limited the dimensions of the picture uploads

and many more features ... check out the app's description on AppShopper > http://appshopper.com/photography/mobile-fotos

Now Mobile Fotos has become even better with the latest update on 1/13:
> UI has been re-worked, its awesome
> Background uploading que
> Much faster download time, user can view images much quicker
> Multiple account support - love this as we have several flickr accounts
> Integrated Twitter service via built-in web browser, Tweetie, Twitterrific, Twittelator and Twittelator Pro
> and more ...

So if you love Flickr and are active of Twitter .... Mobile Fotos is certainly worth checking out and is 100% anti-KRAPPS Certified!

I just wish it had a way to view Recent Activity, then it would be perfect!

You are absolutely correct ... I also wish there was a way to view the images EXIF informaton and participate in group discussions ... however no app provides these functionalities and I'm wondering if that has someting to do with the Flickr API or perhaps Apple's restrictions ... but for the time being, it's the best Flickr app out there - hopefully more enhancements/functionality is on the way.

Recent Activity API call: http://www.flickr.com/services/api/flickr.activity.userPhotos.html

Retrieve EXIF data via the API: http://www.flickr.com/services/api/flickr.photos.getExif.html

So at least those can be done! ;)

Aussie Geek Stuck In Texas ... LOL ... love it ... and a Nikon man - love it even more! :D

Since I named my site that, Texas has actually grown on me so it isn't entirely true any longer but I still like the title so it will stay! :)

Geez - so then what are they waiting for? Seriously, this is pretty important and basic Flickr stuff & none of these Flickr apps allow this functionality. Heck - did you see the new Flickr app that was released yesterday ... yeah, $3.99 and just does the same old KRAPPS ... these copy-apps are getting way tired!
