Hi,
I’ve just got the new iPhone XS & I definitely think I’ll need some kind of cover. What do other people in the UK go for - AppleCare or mobile insurance? And which companies do you recommend. Thanks

I always go for Apple care and add it to my house insurance.

Cost a few £ a year to add to house insurance and that covers you for theft or loss. Apple care covers everything else.

Thanks for the advice. I’m not sure if I’d be able to add to the insurance, as I’m on a farm and the in-laws take care of the account.

Im he same

I do international travel every couple of months and I need protection against loss and theft which AppleCare+ doesn’t provide

If you’re careful not to lose your phone I’d just do AC+

Thanks for that. I’m very careful and haven’t had any of my past phones lost or stolen, but not sure if it’s worth the risk. How come Apple don’t provide applecare + theft & loss protection in the UK?

I guess they will when they sort out the legal aspect of it

Was disappointed they didn’t offer it either
