Mobile Me, iCloud, Google, Other

I'd like your feeling and enlightenment please.
For email, contact and calendar functions, I've used Google on linux, mac, iphone3g,3gs, ipodtouch2g, and windows, and I've used MobileMe on mac, iphone3g,3gs, and ipodtouch2g

With the advent of icloud, I cannot upgrade to Lion without upgrading the memory or replacing my Mac Mini. My 3gs is good for icloud, but my 3g and ipodtouch2g are not.

So I'd like to poll you here about what you currently use/or plan to use if/when you upgrade to Lion

3. iCloud

iCloud for everything except email (gmail), since Apple is making it difficult to mesh my @me.com email account and @gmail.com Apple ID together.

I gave mobileme a go for a few years but I'm not happy with it. I'm going to clone my mbp and do a fresh install of lion soon. With that I will be moving my mail and calendars back to google. The problems I have don't seem to have been addressed in the iCloud beta version

The MobileMe web app was slow, had poor rules (only 99 & no concatenation), no filters and no smart folders. It was a very poor experience in comparison to gmail.

The MobileMe calendar was rubbish. I have lots of subscribed calendars and it's not possible to see these in the web app.

MobileMe contacts works great and is so much better than google contacts so I will stay with them.

Now that google have exchange (main reason I first changed) I will now change back.

I have MobileMe but I have moved to hosted Exchange. It works better but costs more money.

Google & MobileMe/iCloud for me

MobileMe for my Apple devices
Google for non Apple devices and if I want to look at data on the web, I prefer the google interface

I also use google & mobilme/icloud together. google and mac syncs all the time and my bb, mac, iphone all get synced over the air. If I didn't have a blackberry, I would only use mobileme/icloud.

I had moved my calendars to google when I bought my touch and pocket informant. I have moved them back to MobileMe since they fixed that little "problem".

I'm undecided on that topic, but will keep my main mail with MobileMe/local copy for now. I think.

I'd prefer local hosting but that isn't an option right now.
