Mobile Me & iPhone

Got an iphone but i really want push email. Suppose uploading photos would be nice aswel but i just want push email really. Does mobile me work properly yet or will i be getting lots of downtime still?

i dont have a visa so cant sign upto the free trail.

So anyone in similar position reccomend i go for it? or maybe get a visa from my bank and try it out first? or even use yahoo for push email or something?

I stopped getting mail from all three email accounts I have set up since Monday.

Just a couple of days after I set up Push mail on my .mac account. Now, I can't fetch or get push email.. SWEEEEETTTT!!!! I can't get email on 3g, Edge, or WiFi

Way to go Apple!

Email had been flawless for me in the past on the iPhone.

It works well for me. However, if you just want PUSH EMAIL you might want to try YAHOO Mail. It also does PUSH and it is FREE.

In my case I also need OTA Sync of Contacts and Calendar.

MobileMe is definitely not worth the price of admission. My wife has yahoo mail and it works better than my $100.00 per year MobileCrap. If i had it to do over i would go Yahoo, and just sync everything at night docked to itunes. Now i am stuck paying the 100.00 a year, cause now I have to .me address, and i hate to change. Oh well hope it gets better soon. Steve Jobs has given all of us an additional 90 days free. woohoo.

It's as if someone at Apple watches the threads. After making a post in this thread yesterday about my mail no longer showing up on my iPhone 3G last night it all cam through. Only four days late in some cases.

So far (X fingers) iCal and Contacts is syncing fine and on time. I'm just not sure if I'll keep Mobile me when it's up for renewal. It doesn't seem stable enough.
