Boy could I use some help. I woke up last week, turned on my MacBook, opened iCal and discovered that my calendar had reverted back to what it was in May (coincidently around the same time I renewed my Mobile Me account). Nothing I did would allow it to sync. I also have an iPhone and my iCal was fine on that and was up to date on MM. Now, many days later after phone tech support, chat tech support and being "escalated to a tech specialist" and enjoying the wonders of email tech support (woefully slow and useless), there is no resolution in sight. The support people keep having me repeat the same steps over and over. These steps should work (normal sync set-up and revert steps), but they are not. It seems clear to me that the problem is not with my MacBook, but with the cloud. Somehow, it will not allow my iCal to sync. In the process of doing what the tech people told me, I lost all my contacts on the MacBook, iPhone, and MM. Thanks for that tech support! I have begun the long process of entering in contact information. That new information is syncing to my iPhone, but, of course, not my MacBook.

Any thoughts?

Kristin

Well...

If just iCal will not sync, then look in System Preferences and in the MobileMe PrefPane has iCal checked.
If it is everything that will not sync, then look and see if your iDisk has space.
Backups are after a year over 1 GB so make sure at least 2 or 3 GBs are available. Hope that helps :apple:

The Sys Prefs thing has been done numerous times.

As I said before, my contacts will not sync either. I have plenty of space left on iDisk.

All is working fine on my iPhone and MM, just will not sync to MacBook.

Again, it seems to me to be a problem with the cloud. The MacBook has somehow reverted back to what it was in May, just before I renewed MM.
