Mobileme account about to expire need help

Ok so I got the 60 day trial of mobileme which is about to expire and I need some help with it. I do not want to pay the insane price of £60 for mobileme.. so I have found some cheaper deals for about £35 on ebay for individual accounts.

I wont be able to afford buying it however for about a month so what happens if I cancel my mobileme account (so my card doesnt get charged £60) Do I lose my mobileme email address? or can i come back to it a month later with a package code and re activate the same email?
