Yes its is, but only 3 aliases available as opposed to 5 that were available in mobile me. Your existing aliases will be transferred to iCloud.

Thanks for the info. Is there anyway to view or change them on iCloud?

I think it can be done, but by Apple. I called on Thursday morning to talk about splitting my and my husband's single MobileMe into two iClouds. I said I wouldn't be opposed to making a new iCloud account for myself and my husband will keep our original MobileMe. I specifically asked if I could use an alias that I created for myself under the MobileMe. He said yes, but some kind of work order, or whatever term he used, would have to be put in to have the alias taken out of that MobileMe and made new again for me. The way he spoke, it sounded like alot of work (for him to put in the order...maybe because of the high volume Thursday?) and I was just anxious to start messing around with iCloud so I just said I would make a new iCloud for myself and be done with it.

So, yes, I think it can be done.

Yes. Login to your account at iCloud.com then enter the Mail section. At the top right is a little cog looking thingy you can click to get to preferences.

That will get you to this screen you can use to manage aliases. Both my alias came over intact from MobileMe.

I was totally trying to do something else. I wanted one of my aliases to be my new iCloud name. But after a second call I got a firm "no".

Apple: You are chatting in because you would like to change the name that appears when you send from your alias, correct?

Me: The problem is that my changes can't be saved because of a server error.

Apple: Since you migrated from MobileMe, you have to stick with your current settings. The only way you can alter is when you get below the new limit of three, however doing that you would have to delete some of the current aliases. Which I am sure you don't want to do.
That means you can't change anything unless you have not more than three aliases. Not even the sender name (called "Full Name" in the web app). If you moved more than three aliases you're stuck with your old settings for all of them. Indefinitely.

Go to icloud.com, go to the mail section and then go to tools, preferences and addresses in there you can set up and manage your aliases.

No, I can't. That's what I was talking about. As I have more than three aliases management is impossible. The server won't let me do it. So I asked Apple (see quote in my post) and they told me that's just the way it is. Delete aliases and lose them or be stuck with the old settings.
