Hmmm....am I missing something, but if you want to send an email from MobileME, you can send one using either your master account or any of the 5 aliases you setup. However, if you send an email from the iPhone, you can't select an alias...it only sends an email from your master account.

Anyone know a way around this? I only use my master MM account for bills/banks and I use my alises for online purchases/friends/registrations/etc.

I'm digging this up because it's still a concern I have. It doesn't really make any sense to me.

Why are we able to send emails under any of the created aliases in MobileMe when emailing from a computer, yet when you email from your iPhone, you can only email/reply with your master account name?

It poses a problem because to avoid spam, I only use aliases when emailing...my master account is for banking/financial use only. What a pain in the arse.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I would think that each alias in MobileMe would be a separate email account on the iPhone. Each one has it's own address correct? All you would have to do is set up each alias separately on the iPhone.

I think it just doesn't work.

I know at me.com you setup alias's then your email program grabs them so you can use them. The iPhone doesn't seem to do that yet.

I'm sure in future updates there will be tighter mobile me integration.
