Mobileme and iPhoto

MobileMe sharing question:

Setup:
1. I share an iMac with my wife. We each have separate user accounts.
2. I have a MobileMe account, but she does not.
3. We keep our photos under her iMac log-in account for simplicity.
4. I sync contacts, calender,etc thru MobileME on my iMac account, iPhone, and iPad.
5. She syncs contacts, calender, etc thru iTunes.

I would like to share the photos on her iMac user account from iPhoto or Lightroom with people thru my MobileMe account. I do not want to setup syncing of other data (contacts, calender, etc) on her iMac user account since I keep that data on my own account.

Question:
So if I set up sharing of photos to my MobileMe gallery thru iPhoto on her iMac user account where the photos are stored, will this function independently of the other MobileMe syncing functions so we keep separate contacts etc?

It should, yes.

To be doubly sure, after you enter the MM info into iPhone, go to System Prefs-> MM -> Sync and make sure everything is off.

Yes by sending people the url for the entire gallery. You can also share specific albums by just sending people the URL for that album.
