I'm not sure what happened...

I've been using MM sync of iCal and Contacts for a couple of years now. It has been great and always very reliable. Then a couple of weeks ago things went hay-wire. I noticed I had some random duplicates on my calendar. I followed the recommended steps to remove them but nothing worked. I finally just went in and manually deleted all of the duplicates and tried to sync again with no luck.

Now when I try to view them on the actual MM site I get an error that they are temporarily unavailable. I can see my mail there and for a few days could see my Contacts, but now just mail.

I can't figure it out and to top it all off, I have tried for days to use the support chat and it's never available. Frustrating!

Any ideas???

My problem is a bit different

My problems started the same way - with duplicate calendars on my Mac. then I upgraded to the new calendar on Mobile Me and my problems continued. I have followed all the instructions for syncing - on Preferences and on iCal.

I have a MacBook and an iPad. If I enter a new event into my iPad, no problem. It shows up on MobileMe and syncs to my MacBook. But not the other way around. Enter it into my MacBook and it does not show up on MobileMe and does not sync to my iPad.

Any suggestions?

Contacts are not syncing properly on either my iPhone4 or my iPad, but they are syncing between my iMac and MM.

I know that both my iPad and my iPhone are connecting with MM because both are updating my calendar perfectly, my mail from me.com is downloaded to the iPad and I can find both units on "Find My Phone". My contacts seems totally however, will not update.

Mobile Me worked flawlessly for the first 11 months I had the service, but they've been nothing but a headache for the last 4 months or so. The problems seemed to coincide with the restructuring for FREE "Find My iPhone" and haven't stopped since.
