MobileMe Control Panel on Windows Vista 64 bit

Trying to install MobileMe Control Panel on Windows Vista 64 bit and I get an error that I need to install iTunes 8 which is already installed.

I just go a new laptop with 4GB Ram which requires 64 bit to use all the memory. This a pretty common setup now on new laptops sold in retail stores.

Has anyone had this problem? Does MobileMe Control Panel work in 64 bit Vista?

Works for me. I, too, am cursed with 64-bit Vista on a laptop with 4GB RAM. However, I did install the 64-bit version of iTunes (which comes with the MM control panel), and not the 32-bit one.

I've been using this setup for months (I got the laptop in July).

I finally got it to install. Not sure why it was failing. However, MobileMe Control Panel is now a separate install.
