MobileMe delaying order?

Hi!
I am planning to order an iMac soon(via apple.com), but i also want MobileMe, which is comming mid july.
My question is: will MobileMe delay my iMac order if i order it with my iMac, or will apple ship them seperately(i live in Denmark, if that would chance anything)

They might send you a .Mac account since it will automatically upgrade to MobileMe next month. Call Apple to verify.

It says preorder MobileMe, so i dont think they will send a dot mac box.

The reason why im not just ordering MobileMe seperately is, that i would then have to pay the shipping of it

You can buy .Mac online. It's all part of the OS anyway, so all I can think that the box contains, other than legal paperwork, is some free CD or the like (AppleCare does/did come with a free copy of TechTool Pro, for instance). Just get .Mac online and it'll upgrade for free later.

You can activate it online with our order, no shipping involved when it is available. The box includes apple stickers and a card with the activation code.

So if i order it online with my imac i wouldnt get the box anyway(not that i care)?

If you pre-order MobileMe online, you will get the retail box in mid-July. Also, you can no longer order .Mac from the online store or over the phone. Some Apple Retail Stores may still have them in stock, but the only way to purchase the .Mac subscription online from Apple is through the online process at Mac.com itself. That is an online web form only and you do not get the retail box.

And to answer your earlier question, no it will not delay your order. Your iMac will ship as soon as it is ready, and the MobileMe retail box will be shipped out in Mid-July.

Ordering MobileMe alongside your Mac will not delay the shipping process. Saturday I ordered a 24" iMac along with MobileMe and a few other Apple products. As of this morning everything has been shipped and assigned a tracking number sans the MobileMe which states it will be shipping mid-July. According to Apple they will ship the merchandise and charge your credit card as it becomes available. Thus ordering 10 different items simultaneously could potentially result in 10 different shipments.

Should take this seriously...

Now i have finaly ordered my 24 iMac and MobileMe.
But when i got the confirmation mail it said: Your order will not ship until all items is available.
Have you(the onces who have ordered MobileMe along with other things) reseven this message, and still gotten your "other things"?
I am getting nervous, cuz i want my iMac before "mid-july"

Now i am getting nervous about my order of an 20" imac and MobileMe(i got the same message!!!).
Does anyone have an answer??

why dont you just try calling up apple customer service, they should be able to answer questions about such things easily.
