MobileMe email push hasn't worked as expected lately

Hello,

Lately, I get on my Mac an see I have a new email which was sent hours ago, my iPhone which is set to have emails pushed to it doesn't have any emails.

When I make the iphone check for an email, the email is received, is push working on MobileMe or not?

Same thing for me. Sometimes I can have over 5 e-mails queued up which have not been pushed and I have to go into the Mail app on the iPhone for them to download.

MobileMe I think is suffering the same problems as Yahoo! push service did a year ago (have since deleted my Yahoo account so can't vouch for the quality these days.)

Same problem here. MobileMe's push feature works maybe 50% of the time. It's absolutely ridiculous that Apple can't get this fixed.

Push has been fantastic for me the last few weeks. I started using as a text replacement with my girlfriend as she has a blackberry.

These last few days though, it hasn't been pushing emails though. It's very annoying. I was getting used to it. I hope they get it sorted out soon. I just downgraded my texting plan and rather not switch back to it as I enjoy the savings.

Hmm, I just signed up for MobileMe and, yeah, no push to my iPhone as yet.

The status page says everything is running dandy, so makes you wonder what the point of a status page is when it doesnt reflect the status of the system.

I guess I have two more months to consider if I'm going to lay down $120 to keep it, haha.

I'm in the same boat too. I was waiting on some important emails and unbeknownst to me they had already been sent I only found out when they finally pinged my inbox 3 hours later.

Its quite embarrassing how Apple launched MobileMe when it is so far from finished. It must of been alpha stage when released and I think we may have reached beta... just.

Well thank jebus for this thread - got my new iPhone 3G on Saturday and thought it was the phone that was messing up, even to the point I was emailing myself "test" emails from my gmail account.
I was presuming that the push setting on the phone hadn't taken, but it seems ok now. Still, quite annoying that I had to return to manually checking my mail account to fetch new emails. Hopefully they get some consistancy of service soon....

Mine was the same but powering off (then back on) the iPhone seems to of fixed it, for now, of course.

Push is not working to my iPhone either. It hasn't been working right for a couple of weeks. I tried restarting phone, but it didn't help.

If you decide to buy it, get it on ebay - much cheaper (like $55-$60).

I dunno if it's the same problem.. But my iphone seems to get messages on time, but mail.app on mac doesn't seem to be getting the emails at all. It's not in junk, it's not in a trash, not modified by a filter, nothing.. Just not there.

And get mail doesn't seem to be retrieving the mail either...

Had mobile me since launch and now push isn't working at all

on contacts, calender, mail etc.

i tried a reboot, turning off push then back on, even removed the mobile me account etc.. nothing

so annoying. And contacting apple is worthless

ok ... so for when did Apple promise to have things running smooth ???
for after the trial extension ? If so .. when would that be ?? At Mac world 2009 .. or sooner ...

Coz I for one think paying 99$ for a broken system is unaceptable !
Why is it taking so long to fix this push !!!
If push is so important to Apple they should at least say they are working on it, insted of hidding like everything is ok ! On top of the Push feature not working like it should ... Mobile Me Web apps are broken .. and iDisk is extremely slow !
I cant even send to myself @ mobileme large files coz then wont come through !!! ...

Why is it so unstable after a couple of months !!??
Apple stop acting like MobileMe is all ok !
