does anyone on here know if its possible to sync contacts with both services and not have any overlap/deletion of one or the other for the the other to work?

hope i worded that correctly

for email, it will create 2 mailboxes, which is fine with me, just wanting to know about calendars and contacts.

thanks

MobileMe and Exchange work perfect together. Email, contacts and calendar are fine.

This poster is correct.

I do the same thing to separate work and personal stuff. Works like a charm. They can coexist just fine together.

Maybe I am missing something.. When I add a new contact it goes into the mobileme account (which is set as the default account in settings/mail contacts calendars. When I select the exchange contact list and add a contact it goes into the exchange one and gets synced. Is there a way to add a new contact to both simultaneously?

No you can not.

Apple has gone as far as also disabling the ability to use the MobileMe app available for your pc from syncing to the exchange contacts that reside on outlook. It will only allow you to sync contacts in outlook that is not part of exchange.

Why they have that disabled for both? Idk. Sometimes Apple does strange things.
