I have upgraded to MobileMe Family. I would like to sync 3 iPhones without having the address books and calendars merge. Is this possible? I am syncing with 1 MacBook Pro but could use a PC in addition if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can have 5 user id's (email address's) and each will have their own email, contacts and calendar synced over the air. I.E. Almost like having 5 individual plans (just less storage).

Mike, I appreciate the response and I do understand a bit. Can I hardwire sync all iPhones with my MacBook Pro without having, for example, my wife's address book merging with mine? Even over the air, I would like all to have separate address books and calendars.

MobileMe data is stored in the cloud on apple servers. You sync with that over the air. Each email address has a separate address book and calendar. You do not do any hard wire sync with MM. By default it is all kept separate. If you wanted to merge you would have to use the same email address. Most complain that you can't share parts (like calendar) with others.

Open iCal go to Calendar > Publish and then set to publish with mobileme. Then click the "send email" or whatever link and you can have others subscribe to the calendar on their devices/computer. The only thing they can't do is edit it.

I was talking about from the MobileMe Web Interface. Not everyone uses a Mac.

You need for each MM member to to have their own account on the MBP to use all of the MM features. That way each MM account can use the iDisk on the MBP, iCal, Mail without the other person's information.

OK, I appreciate the great responses from everyone. I hate to keep asking dumb questions but when I sync my wife's iPhone for the first time with the cloud, is her iPhone address book going to merge with mine which is already stored on my MacBook? This includes her calendar as well. I will sync with the cloud from her iPhone as well, yes? Are there any support links from Aplle to walk me through a MobileMe Family user acct?

So, to use 1 MBP for 3 iPhone MM accts, each must have a user created in Preferences on the MBP?
