Ladies and Gentlemen.

I read some of the MobileMe Threads. I must admit, that I am a very satisfied MobileMe User. I just works simple and plain on my MBP and iPhone. Great service.

I do have a question, though.
My account expires next year. What, if I buy right now again one or even two MobileMe activations? Does it pump it up, like the account expires in 2010 or 2011? Or does it just renew my account from now on until the next year in August?

I want to know that, because I don't want to be in a hassle with news like: "Please renew your account. It expires in 3 weeks. Thanks – Apple." I like to prepare those things in advance.

Best Regards and thanks for beeing part at this great board.

It should say "An Activation key will be applied to your renewal on xx/xx/2xxx"

Unfortunately, a few people have reported issues with this. Some people find a message appeared in their account like above, but the account expired anyway (meaning they lost all their data).

There's really no way to guarantee that it will work, although it should become more reliable over time.

I wouldn't get two codes, they expire after 9 months and it can be difficult to enter them at the best of times.

Got it. Felt the same way. Although it should be possible, so Apple can make more money, of lazy people like me.

Cause I really don't wanna handle things like: "Please renew your account. It expires on XX.XX.200X." Because sometimes I forgot these important things.

I thought, when I buy two or even three activation codes, I am good to go for my small business.

But anyway. I will stick then in expiring after 11 months.
