Hi,

Having no end of problems getting mobileme synched with my imac and ipod touch.

After following the mobileme set up guides again and again and thinking I had everything set up nothing seemed to work between mobileme calendars and ical, then eventually the event I added for Wednesday 17 July at 8.15 PM was synched to ical, but in ical it is saved on Thursday 18 July at 4.15 PM. (It is also synched to my ipod on the 17 July at 4.15PM - but it hasn't synched the details of the event - just called it "New Event").

This is going to be fun keeping track of which version of my calendar is right - should I leave it as it is and just remember to take 20 hours off the start time of all me appointments?!

So the first time that I think I have got synch to work, it hasn't worked.

Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,

Dave.

Have you gone into the preferences in mobile me and set the time zone?

I was having the same problem until I realised you could change it! My problem now however, is that GMT 0.00 in Mobile Me is an hour out of synch. It appears it doesn't adjust for British Summer Time.

Very annoying as now all my iCal entries are an hour out of whack!

Ah... I see, thanks, one hour out is better than 20 I guess (actually how could it synch an 8.15PM event to 4:15PM the next day - there isn't a timezone on the list that is that far out...?!)

I've noticed that both iCal and the MobileMe web calendar have an option to switch on timezones, perhaps if both are set to London they would be accurate and lose the hour difference? Can't seem to check now as the MobileMe calendar is refusing to go beyond "Loading Events..."

Cheers

Dave.

Embarrassingly, I've only just noticed that there was a 'London' timezone –*I had selected the 'GMT 0:00' further up the list! This seems to have solved my problem, thanks!

I'm sorry it hasn't solved your problem though.

MobileMe Event Date Changes

I;ve had the same issue. Mobile Me changed all my events by 3 hours. Weird. If anyone knows a fix I'd be glad to hear it.
