I am trying to upload some documents onto idisk via the web interface as the finder interface is glitchy i find.

Anyway, it when i select choose to select a document from hard drive it wont allow me to select from files, anyone know why or is this restriction is going to be fixed?

eg, a file with the extension .mentalcaselib is not selectable or .workflows

Ill try the finder interface but it seems alittle lame....

Compress file first

On a Mac, Compress the file first (right click on the file, then choose compress). That compressed file will be saved to the location of the original. Just drag that compressed file to your iDisk in the finder and it will work. Or you can do it on-line, but no need to....

good idea !! thats what ill do - zip is good enough

still dont know why they dont let you upload all file extensions....

Ah, so it doesn't let you copy all file extensions. I didn't realize that. It's not just on the Mac side. I've been having problems copying some files to iDisk on my PC and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Will it let you copy .rar files or just .zip files?

Actually iDisk should

Actually iDisk should, (and is supposed to) let you upload all file types. A file is a file... in my opinion.

I found this out the hard way. Rapid Weaver (.rwsw) files WILL NOT SAVE to iDisk as they always would in the past... until mobileme...

I have been zipping them as a workaround.
