Having an odd problem with MobileMe. We have various video clips from two separate cameras in iPhoto 9.1.1. UPloaded them to MobileMe via the Share function in iPhoto. They upload and play online Ok with just one problem, they are all upside down. The video image is rotated 180 degrees, but they still play forwards. Still images do not suffer this problem. Same result in when viewed in other browsers and on other machines. Why is this happening? Has anyone else experienced it? And what can be done? Quite annoying. :(

Of course, I could hang by my feet, like count duckula, or flip the monitor... But any OTHER suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :D

Same flipped video

April 2011 and I'm experiencing the same problem. I took my video on an iPhone, imported it onto my laptop (Mac OS X 10.6.7), opened and edited the clips in Quicktime, then saved them in the m4v format. Some clips were viewed in Aperture, and one was edited with iMovie. One or two weren't edited at all.

When I put these movies into my MobileMe account they play just fine in my regular view. But when I click the link I would send to someone else to view the photos, the JPEG pictures are all fine but the videos play upside down.

All the videos, whether straight from iPhone, edited in iMovie, or imported/exported from Aperture or Quicktime, ALL play upside down!

Not sure what's happening. Off to Google some more ...

Update ...

I'm using Firefox. I had version 4.0. I checked for an upgrade and installed it and it "seems" to have fixed the problem. Time will tell, but it looks good. :D
