I currently use gmail for my email client, Google Calender (calengoo on iPhone & iPad) and my contact book rarely changes.

I do like the "Find my iPhone" application and was debating getting MobileMe for this. My question is... is it really worth it? I've read up on MobileMe and I don't see me needing email sync or calender sync because I have no problem with either now. I can't remember the last time I even updated my contacts.

I do like the options that the find application provides though.

I love MM because of how it makes everything the same among my iPhone, iBook, and MBP. I wouldn't pay $100 and got mine on Amazon for $70. Even without the rest of MM I would pay $6 per month for the Find My iPhone feature. You can also make good use of the iDisk to have some files always available and to share files.
