I'm confused. Or are the staff at the Apple Store, Regent Street, London more confused than I am???!
I just went to clarify the issue I have about migrating my (10 year old iTools), MobileMe account and corresponding data to iCloud, as I have only a PowerBook G4 at home now, I cannot and don't really want to attempt to make the move... (yet)
The facts being sent to me by Apple are:
1. To migrate to iCloud one needs OS X Lion 10.7.2 or later.
2. To run OS X Lion 10.7.2 one needs a Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor.
This I know all too well.
I thought I would ask again for peace of mind... except, the dear Apple Store staff, and not just one, but two of them told me I could install (my already received free copy of) Snow Leopard on my PowerBook G4 (currently happily running OS X 10.5.8) and then move to iCloud.
Surely they are mistaken??
