I am looking at getting the Samsung Omnia (I would do iPhone, but I hate At&t with a passion...long story) I want to get the MissingSync program for the Omnia so I can sync with my Mac. I noticed that it said you have to have entourage, which I do have but I don't use nor do I want to start (the less microsoft programs to use the better).

Can I use my Mac Mail? Or can I at least sync my MobileMe account with MissingSync to the Omnia?

Missing Synch, Entourage, Etc.

Missing Synch will synch with Mail.app, Calendar.app and Contacts.app without an issue. For all practical purposes Entourage actually shares the Apple databases and the Apple MobileMe Cloud keeps the apps in synch. I use both because as much as I too hate Microsoft apps for the Mac the integrated Entourage client has distinct advantages over its Apple cousins. For one thing you can set Reminders for any Entourage item. You can also associate Calendar items with both files and other Entourage items - contacts, calendar, etc.
