Guys, is anyone else having problems with the mobileme Push?

Calendar and Contact entries made on iPhone and Mac don't seem to be Pushed anymore!

I've deleted my ME account on my iPhone and then re-synced and still no luck.

I've also deleted my Calendar and Contact accounts on the iPhone but to no avail!

Any more suggestions please?

I posted the following on your other tread. Really important to look at http://www.me.com to make sure it is being updated. Also, are you saying that it eventually gets updated but just not very fast?
Are you using the MobileMe Calendar Beta? Just to be clear, when you add something to your phone it does not get pushed directly to your Mac. It first must be pushed to MobileMe. To determine the problem you should first make sure your event is being pushed to MobileMe. You do this at http://www.me.com/calendar. The same is true for putting events on your Mac. It first much be pushed to MobileMe. After being pushed to MobileMe then all other devices Syncing with MobileMe should be updated. This is not "instant". I just tested and it took maybe 30-60 seconds. Also, I had to REFRESH my Browser to see the update on MobileMe (I think it sometimes auto updates the screen).

Hey dude, thanks for the reply.

I'm not using ME Beta. I'm basically just using my iPhone 4 and the iCal and Contacts on my Mac. I don't actually go into the Mobileme.com site at all.

When I add something on my iPhone (Contact or Cal entry) and then check several hours later on my Mac there's still nothing there. But I'll go and do a test on my mobileme.com account and see if it's getting added on there.

Thanks for the tips. Lets hope they work :)

Just done the test. I went and added a couple of iCal and Contact entries on my Mac. Then went to my mobileme account online a few minutes later and the entries did not update on the me account. I also pressed the mobileme Sync now button on my Mac and still nothing.

Very confused now

Now you know the reason that they are not appearing on your iPhone. Right? Did you try the same test by putting entries into your iPhone and see if they appear online? Again, MobileMe Web (the Cloud) is the Master Copy. If you are not Syncing with that then nothing is working. Have you tried entering an entry into MobileMe Web and see if the entry gets transferred done to either your iPhone or your Mac? Not sure what else I can add if you continue to have problems. On the iPhone you could delete the MobileMe Account and then re-add it to see if that helps. Make sure you are are entering your entries into the correct calendar (you can have more then one). You may want to take you iPhone into an Apple Store and have them check you setup. Good Luck.

Thanks lads for the help.

I'm at my wits end with all this stuff! I found a new problem where I have 6000+ (yes, six THOUSAND+) entries added under 1 date in 2007

How on earth this happened I do not know, but am thinking whether this has anything to do with my Push problem.

Unfortunately I cannot delete the 6000 entries as when I go to this date on iCal or me.com it causes the programmes to crash with the spinning wheel of death! I can delete on the iPhone but only one at a time!!!

My only other option is to delete the entire calendar but then I'd loose ALL my entries but I will need to relate to some of those in the future.

Weaselboy, yup I have MM sync set to auto in my Prefs :)

mobileme not syncing

Similar problems...

My contact data is syncing between my mobileme and mac, but not to my iphone4

Calendar data is not syncing between my mobileme and mac and also not syncing to my iphone4.

have spent several hours chatting with mobileme support and several hours at the genius bar, but still no help. It did appear to be fixed a couple weeks ago, but then a few days ago it stopped syncing again. So frustrated.

I had the same problems. I think it happened after the latest iPhone OS update (which I havent downloaded yet). All I did was reboot my phone and everything seems to be working again. I'll download the new OS when I can. Maybe its related to that in some way?

+1
Sync used to work but seemed to stop around the time I upgraded my 3Gs to iOS4. For something that's supposed to "simply work," this "simply doesn't"

Sync is the only reason I have mobileme, too...

I have just done a little testing myself between my iMac, Macbook pro iPad and iPhone.

On the iMac and MBP i have the calendars set at "on my mac" and sync set to Automatic.

on the iPad and iPhone i have the calendars set to my ".mac e-mail" (or .me)
it has the choice of on my Mac but when i set it to that there is nothing as soon as i select the @mac.com address it all comes back.

You will see the calendars button at the top left of the calendar page

I typed different adjustments on the iMac and MBP automatic sync kicked in and around 30 seconds later i watched as the information on my iPad changed in front of me.

I did the same changing a time on the ipad and roughly 30 seconds later it changed on the MBP.

Gotta say it all seems to be working perfect or just as described.

Personally i think the key is using the .me/.mac e-mail as the calender on your iPhone/iPad and on my mac with the desktop or Laptop

Prior to do this test today it has been working great for me, it allows my wife to know where my Jobs are at and Phone numbers if she can't contact me, overall we are sharing the calendar and all other mobile me functions over 6 devices 2 -MBP 1- iMac 1-iPad and 2 iPhones

Hope this helps
