This is part mini-rant, part "if you can help, please do" situation.

So I was going through my mobileme gallery deleting old videos and albums. Everything was working okay. Every once in a while MobileMe would complain about a lost connection, of course  But eventually I made it through everything.

Then I checked my iDisk to make sure all the files had been deleted. Well most of them had been, except two stupid stubborn folders. Two albums had been deleted from the web interface, so I can't see them on the album pages, or the page where you manage the albums. But for some reason MobileMe decided to leave their folders behind. No biggie, right? Just delete 'em.

Well it turns out there's some stupid permission kung fu going on with album folders. I don't have permission to delete my own folders???

I tried everything I know how to do sudo chmod them, sudo rm -r them, slapping the keyboard, etc. Nothing works. Not that I really expected chmod or rm to work.

So here's another time MobileMe failed me. Now I have ~1GB of data sitting on my disk that I have no access to.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Would MobileMe Chat/Support guys be able to help me?

"MobileMe Chat/Support guys" are the most helpful guys on earth.</sarcasm>

Anyway, try accessing your iDisk via Transmit and deleting that way.
