I have had the individual account for over almost two years, I love it, however now the wife and two sons have iPhones, so is the Family Pack worth it, and can I track the phones, Remote Locka and wipe them from my MobileMe main account?

Just trying to see if anyone here is using the Family Pack and to see if it is worth $150.00 per year?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

I paid $99 for it on Amazon. It is like 5 individual but with less storage. If you like it then you know best.

On the Find My Phone. You would need the password of each account. Again, like 5 individual accounts.

I have a family pack and it is worth it if you have multiple iPhones or iPads. My other family members just use it for mail and the others for the location feature. I don't think they know how to use the iDisk. If you feel your other members will utilize the features, than it is worth it. Also like the previous poster said you can find the family pack for cheaper elsewhere. It's $98 on amazon right now.

So there's (optional, at least) security between each "family member's" account then?

Also, is there any requirement to use any other facilities if all you want in Find My Phone? (With the MS equivalent you need to set up to sync something before it deigns to track the phone)

Yes. Again, like 5 individual accounts (but cheaper because you share the storage space). No, if you only want the Find My Phone you can actually just use 1 account (individual or family). I have a family account because two others in my family would like to have their own email/contacts/calendar, etc. But for me I still have an iPhone 3g,3gs,4 and an iPad. All attached to "my" Personal MobileMe Account (which is 1 of the family accounts but could be an individual account) and I can see them all with "my" Find My Phone. The 3g,3gs are my older phones that I still have. Hope this helps.

Edit: I think I missed the part about MS Equivalent. Not sure what you mean, but you have to install MobileMe on each phone with at least the Find My Phone activated. You do not need to have Mail, Contacts and Calendar Activated. Now, the phones can all login to the same MobileMe Account or to separate MobileMe Accounts. You just need to use the userid/password of the MobileMe Account that you will be using to Sync and/or Track the phone with.
