Sometimes when first turning on the iphone the the address book contacts will totally disappear, and then reappear a minute later. This isn't problem, unless I go to a marginal coverage/ no coverage area. Then, my address book will be empty. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Todd

Mine doesn't do that, but you could always turn off the pushing of contacts and manually sync them. It's not ideal, but it probably beats not having your contacts in some cases.

this happens to me too, and it is annoying. They usually reappear within a minute or two. Usually being the key word. It seems that when they disappear, so too do custom ringtones....

That is an option, but I shouldn't have to do that since I'm paying them $100 for this service. I paid to have everything OTA, and not be tied down to the computer all the time.

Does the turning of the iphone on and off force the sync? I have yet to be able to get anything (more calendar than contact though) upload from my iphone to me.com

I see no settings in me.com to sync at specific intervals nor on the iphone.
