MobileMe sync icon in OSX menu bar

Is there a way I can remove this?

I don't use it and its only appeared since I bought my iP4.

Tried going to preferences and there is no option.

Hold the command key and drag it off the bar. Poof!

Wow, been using OSX since '05 and I had no idea that was possible.
