List of changes:

1. Power (logout) button clearly visible

2. Allocated storage switched to GB units; it can be equally divided between iDisk and Mail

3. Mail can display as many as 200 messages per page as opposed to only 50 previously

To be continued...

It would help if it actually worked and would stay up for more than a day. And it would be even better if we got back all of the things we lost in the .Mac->MobileMe transition (far more than they added IMHO). Oh well, my account expired today (without a hint of the promised 30-day extension - I got the email too). They promised me twice now via chat (in the last 2 weeks) that it would not expire, but they lied. I am currently waiting for chat support again (it said 62 minutes when I started, now at 23 minutes after more than an hour).

Now they say that the extension has been applied and it will expire Sept 9, but there is no evidence of that; the status still says expired and the FAQ has not been updated to say it has been applied. And this time when I was done it never asked me if I wanted a transcript!

Do you guys know how to find out what your original expiration date was so you can determine whether you got your 30 days or not? I'm not too big on record keeping.

Go to:
https://secure.me.com/account/

For some reason my new date shows on Account Summary (2 places) and my old date shows on Account Options (under $99). I hope they are gong by Account Summary.

What does your say?

I also just notice on MobileMe Preferences (Windows) and it says:

Member Since July 10, 2008 and "Your Account will expire in 60 days".

If you click on Account Details it takes you to the Summary Page.
