Love Apple products and am a borderline machead. But woefully disappointed with mobileme. It is buggy and honestly you can do most things for free and do them better with other products. Unless you have the beta calendar you cant even share. Can't share a calendar are you kidding? The most innovative company on the planet and don't have something as basic as calendar sharing.

Honestly I knew this was a questionable product going in but kept thinking maybe the reviews are wrong.

As much as Apple is about perfection it is surprising they sell this stuff. Maybe someone reading this will not be like me and listen to others who say stay away.

I guess my expectations were to high. Everything mobileme does there are free alternatives that do it better. I thought the integration with mac would be a plus but many services like flickr integrate just fine with mac. So I just cant see the benefit especially when it is buggy. Especially the calendar. After using google calendar for so many years I was shocked at the limitations.

Except for the syncing and Find my iPhone.

And I find Back to My Mac and encrypted chats much simpler than other alternatives.

As far as the calendar sharing goes, wasn't that easy enough to do through whatever calendar app you were syncing with on your PC or Mac?

baldimac it was however when iphonee 4 came out there were some issues getting all my calenders to show up. They all were showing up on wifes phone but not mine. So I thought I would go ahead and make the jump to mobileme.

However, that did not work to well and in the mean time figured out how to get all my google calendars to show up.

I do like the find my iphone but that is about it.
